Performative Work: OPEN CAll

APPLICATIONS DUE: October 19th @ midnight

We are extending a call for diverse performative works that engage the viewer in the creation of social space and/or seek to transform viewership from passive to active. Works should consider notions of the gallery as an ever-evolving space, exploring dynamic modes of presentation and the potential of collaboration.

Performances will be allotted specific time frames to occupy any one of 4 rooms, situated within a larger context of new media and installation works in the gallery’s main spaces. Performances/Performative works can be durational, looping or have a specific timeline that will be enacted and then switched out with another performer. The directors will support and curate this flow of work in collaboration with selected artists.
