Jeff B. Johnston was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received a BFA at the University of Tulsa, studying under M. Teresa Valero, Glenn Godsey, Virgil Lampton, and Daniel Lang. Since his first solo exhibition in 1998, Jeff has exhibited in Tulsa, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco. After fifteen years as an illustrator, graphic designer and musician, Jeff returned to receive his MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute. Jeff continues to live and work in San Francisco.
